Change Management for Digital Protocols

The end of the year is an interesting time for a webinar about Change Management and Digital Transformation in clinical trials and drug development.

What better time than just before Christmas to reflect on past transformation projects, the ones that we are happening now, and about digital transformations that are yet to come?

That’s exactly what Chibby Ebhogiaye from Faro Health and I did on December 18, 2024 at our Xtalks webinar called, “Change Management Strategies for Clinical Study Design Technology Adoption.” We shared best practices from many years of experience leading and participating in transformations in the clinical development and protocol digitalization space.

Even if you are not focused on protocols or clinical trials per se, we share a number of considerations that are true for any digital transformation:
·      The importance of clearly articulating the opportunity or problem statement
·      Taking the time to understand your current state, workflows and stakeholders – primary, secondary and impacted bystanders
·      Having a clear set of priorities of how (and when) you might leverage and integrate with legacy data and legacy systems
·      Designing early adopter programs that allow for listening, feedback and course correction as you go along

We all know that transformations are NOT just about the technology. Watch the recording of Chibby and me, as we discuss managing the process, people and even the cultural aspects.
